Day that my new niece, Annalise was born :). H rang me Monday evening while i was playing pool with Rob (i was out of cell phone range so missed her phone call). She left a really happy message though. Managed to speak to R&H the next day though.
Went to Tate Modern briefly with Rob. There was a new piece at the Turbine Hall. Some sort of thing where the artist had taken casts of a cardboard box to make a mould for plastic boxes, which she then piled into massive structures. Quite a cool effect.
Went to S&R’s place for my Bible Study group’s social. We had a pancake
evening. The americans in the group were a bit annoyed that the British
“pancake” is actually flat!
Had Dinner with L&M at a cafe/bar before watching King Kong. (Wait till it’s on TV). V nice to catch up with them.
Met up with some friends to watch the NZ v England rugby match at the Cambridge Pub near Goodge St. Excellent game to watch and down to the wire. We won! Nuf said ;)
